Fancy trying something different? Bowling but not as you know it! You’ll use a 12 bore semi-automatic shotgun to knock down your steel pins. Just like a game of tenpin bowling you’ll play 10 frames with 2 shots each per round. Can you score a strike? Or pick up a spare?

Restrictions:

The minimum age for this experience is 16. Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating parent/guardian.

Under Section 21 of the Firearms Act 1968 It is an offence for a person who is prohibited under Section 21 of the Firearms Act 1968 to have a firearm or ammunition in his/her possession at any time. This Section applies to any person who has been sentenced to imprisonment or to youth custody or detention in any young offenders institution for three months or more. It also applies to a person who has been sentenced to imprisonment of three months or more where the sentence is suspended. A person sentenced to a period of imprisonment of 3 months or more but less than 3 years is prohibited for 5 years from the date of release. A person sentenced to 3 years imprisonment or more is prohibited for life. A person sentenced to 3 months imprisonment or more where the sentence is suspended is prohibited for a period of five years beginning with the second day after which the sentence is passed. It is an offence for a person to transfer, let, hire, or lend a firearm or ammunition to someone whom he knows or has reasonable grounds for believing to be a prohibited person.  

Availability:

This experience is available Friday – Sunday (10 –4pm) throughout the year.
